What is the most emotional (sad/happy/tearjerking and heartwarming in perfection) cartoon or anime you have ever encountered/seen? And will you ever watch it again/has it changed you at all (as a human/perspective of a certain thing/etc.)?

Let's just put in the random pieces of Ed, Edd, and Eddy from episodes that make it all sad in the end.
1. Edward's parents are never there/might as well abandoned him.

@deadshadow:
It's not canon but it is a pretty giant possibility this can be the backstory (in theory). It's fucked up, of course, but in so many hows you can find a meaning like this that completely changes your perspective towards it.

@forcep: It was IMO one of their best episodes, and i hope they put more episodes to that particular story arc.

@DashingRainbow:
no, no, no. I believe it is a theory... but it seems about right too

@forcep:
It's like the Rugrats theory. It's just a theory, but these shows are so though-provoking that it allows you to even conceive the thoughts of 'maybe'.

I am not going to lie, i teared a bit when I heard Steve was 'leaving' Blues Clues...

they made it extremely depressing and sad... it was a bit fucked up for a kid to watch.

@MLP_JoshF:
I realistically go to one, but that is a long and difficult story....

The last few episodes were about as emotional as the end of The Walking Dead Game (the good one)

Bumping because no one posted the true answer:
(and in case this video gets removed in the future, it's AnoHana)

MLP_JoshF
@ltayl1: I haven't seen Clannad, but I have to disagree with Angel Beats! I, even though I'm a complete pussy (I cried at least twice for every episode of AnoHana), didn't cry at the ending. The only time I cried was during Otanashi's backstory.

sunday without god is pretty emotional. Near the end of Gurren Lagann was emotional aswell, you know the part im talking about.

@Jakalarf: You mean the part where Kamina and Yoko have a kid the day after Nia and Simon get married for happily ever after? (I can deny all the bad things to hide my emotions.)

Redblood801 Chief Dingus
@Neal: I don''t mind what happened to Kamina, but Simon getting blue balled like that is unacceptable.

absolutezilch Hey Big Zam!
I saw that Futurama episode with the dog recently, damn... that was heart-wrenching.
Then I went on Youtube and found out that Opie and Anthony were making fun of E for crying on that episode and I love how macho dudes called in to tell em that they bawled their eyes out on that episode. Futurama was the bees knees.
