@Eddie: It's the same notion with how I don't like certain movies. It got WAY too-hyped for me to get a grasp on. I'm not gonna say it's the worst/it's terrible/never watch it, but it didn't catch my eye and I was thoroughly disappointed (IMO, see it for yourself).
AKA: Didn't like the concept, characters got a bit boring, etc.

Fortunately, I watched it before all of this madness. I went in with no expectations and was thoroughly entertained. It's still not that memorable of a show altogether, but it's good for a bit of entertainment.

I just finished watching season 1. It wasn't as mediocre as I thought it was gonna be. I gave it a 8/10.
Now, off to season 2!

Just finished watching it, and holy hell. That one was a doozy. I gave it a 8/10, which roughly translates to about 3.5/5 yays.

Also the humor reminded me of Baka and Test a bit. If you like Squid Girl then you'd probably like that, if you don't mind the romance subplot. I'd definitely recommend if anyone hasn't seen it already.

@MrFozzilla: I watched season 1 of Baka and Test on Netflix. It's dubbed but I think that it's one of the better dubs, in my opinion. But for season 2 you might need to lurk about the internets some.
There's also a two-parter OVA that bridges seasons 1 and 2, so you might want to check that out if you want.
