Im going to see the new spiderman but I heard from some that it was good and some that it was bad... what should I sxpect, is it gonna be a good movie?

BTW - the movie is not bad :D It presents the same story in a completely different way and it makes it pretty interesting

It is a good movie, despite having a totally different main character, it still follows the basic story line of the first, minus the villain.

its debatable whether or not its better than the originals but it felt more like a real spiderman story

I didn't think it was terrible, but I probably have a higher opinion of it than I should because I was on a date.
I don't think it holds a candle to the Sam Rami movies. I don't even like Garfield better than McGuire as Peter Parker like everyone seems to do. Hated the villain. Hated the parents subplot. Hated uncle Ben's meaningless death. Enjoyed how they are setting up Gwen Stacey's death.

I would just say it's good enough to watch it. Not the best movie, but not really a bad one either.

I might get it off of Netflix. I might forget about it completely as that... other superhero movie that came out this year.
