So I figure, we'll all pretty nerdy, yeah? A good majority of you guys probably watch anime, and an even larger majority probably have shit taste.
So I'll start with a bit about what I watch and try to force my shit taste on you guys.
I've been watching anime for around 7-8 years now, excluding growing up watching Gundam and Yu Yu Hakusho. Even though I've had a power level of 7 since I was young, I've kept it hidden, but I'm a weeaboo at heart.
So on to the anime.

I liked it because it went completely against what I thought would happen. I was expecting a standard harem, but what I got was a really intense show with good character "development".

I'm kind of excited for Silver Spoon, or I guess it's Gin no Saji. Blood Lad might be good. The rest I guess we have to wait and see. I'll be sticking with Hunter X Hunter though.

Know what grinds my gears? When people go full weaboo and pronounce things like 'Shingeki no Kyojin'. Dylon does it all the time. Its Attack on goddamn Titan.

@TheXRayFactor: You are the definition of otaku (not that that is a bad thing) but I consider myself a devoted anime/manga fan and I don't know half the stuff you talk about. But I did watch the first episode of Watamote and I liked it very much, it's very funny.

Come on now, I have just watched like 20 animes in my life, that's hardly otaku-tier.
Anyways, it's really odd how it seems no one has ever heard about a tale of memories. Of course that's a huge generalization, but I've asked about 6 or 7 different people and no one had any idea.
Here's an excerpt that isn't that much spoilerish. I don't want to overhype anyone about that show, but it's literally the best scene I've ever seen in an anime. Everything is perfect, especially the music and sound effects.

I said it in my OP, but seriously if anyone hasn't seen Hyouka I'd encourage them to watch it. It has some amazing animation.
