One of the few things I hate about this game is the lack of creative criticals.
Here are some criticals from the GBA series.

I (as I hope most people did) put my character with Chrom, and they are an S pair and have never lost a fight, I usually keep my healers back for a bit, fuck my archer he sucks, my general is pretty great as well as my Paladin/Cavalier duo which also have never lost

Another thing I hate is that I can't talk to the einherjar. I would love to have support conversations with them.
Especially Lyn.

But as for me, my male assassin avatar is essentially a tank compared with everyone else. Saying that, I'm pretty sure I'm doing it wrong. But more than likely after I'm done with this first play through, I'm gonna restart it again.
Accidentally married Lissa when in actuality, I want to but my Vert inside Tharja's Fire Emblem...

Funny story about the game. I was home for winter break and almost pre ordered at the GameStop near my college. But instead I was going to buy it with the Luigi's Mansion I had pre-ordered back home (since I knew the exact day of that release and Fire Emblem was only a curiosity.) But since there was only one pre ordered copy back home I decided to get it on the eShop. And if I didn't like it I would've been pissed. But now it is my third favourite game off all time.

In my first playthrough I almost married Lissa because I found the banter funny as hell. But when I started talking to Tharja I knew that I had to get with her. And the Morgan that was ridiculously overpowered. And somehow always got Crits because ger luck was through the roof. But the Morgan I have now is my second playthrough and my decision was based on the fact that Yarne was awesome and Panne is also great.

Morgan is probably the best character in the game period. I choose to marry Anna, because why not? Overall the game is fantastic, probably the best game on my 3DS other than Tales of the Abyss, Kid Icarus, and Kingdom Hearts 3D.

@Chenzo: I'm on my second playthrough now. I gotta say that when you care about making a lot of relationships and play on hard the game takes a lot longer and is a lot harder.

Virion, Frederick, and Miriel surprised me and turned out to be power houses for my team

@forcep: Agreed. My first playthrough I didn't use Miriel and I didn't want to use Virion, but I needed an archer. Though I found that they were great for a second playthrough.

Also is there any post-story DLC or is it all just those maps that you play as extra characters? Apparently I'm too inept to find such things on Google.

@Neal:I found Virion and Miriel could often kill in one turn (I upgraded Miriel to Dark Knight and Virion to Sniper)

@Neal: Ah, I see. "Future Past" or whatever it's called came up when I googled about it but it's supposedly an alternate version of the future and I was all like nah.
