That's what I thought originally, but I'm on the fence. I don't remember a single episode of DBZ, and I'm not that far into Shippuden, so I can't really talk.
But what about kyuubi?

Honestly, I think Naruto would win. He's faster than Goku when it comes to charging up an attack, which would give him an advantage in a fight. Wow, saying that made me feel like a huge nerd.

That's fine, this is a nerdy topic. I'm a bit prejudiced here, being a Naruto fan. But I feel like it really comes down to the power of Kyuubi vs Super Saiyan.

@BreadWolf:That's a valid argument. However, you have to take into account what those abilities do to the users' other attributes, as well. In Shippuden, at least where I left off, Naruto has pretty much made the Kyuubi his bitch. So that power gives him speed and strength, on top of the ability to make multiple Rasengans at once. Super Saiyan 4 does something similar for Goku, yet he still takes a while to charge up an attack. If Naruto is able to execute more attacks than Goku, he will eventually overpower the monkey boy.

@shamanowl: It all depends on what ends first, the Naruto filler and flashbacks, or the DBZ attack charges.

If we are talking a fight to the death I can't help but notice that Naruto cannot fly just jump and stay in the air for awhile but not fly.

I didn't watch either show. but based on what I've seen Goku is VERY OP and naruto is just OP

Goku literally moves in 1000 times earths gravity with no problem without trying. If they had to fight I think it would end in Naruto being super mad that he lost, but Goku being all: "Good job. You put up a good fight". And then they eat the world's supply of Ramen. Or Goku just obliterates the Nine Tails fox form with SS4.
I think we could all agree on one thing though. They would both kick Luffy's ass.

i have never seen an episode of aruto, but i think Goku would win.

@natehalodragon: I've seen Naruto's true power. And the power of the Nine Tails. But Goku literally destroys planets. But Goku is so much older and more experienced.

I would have to say Goku, but I had to think longer than I would have initially thought. The current Naruto has a lot of power, but As already mentioned Goku can destroy a planet and can survive the damage needed to destroy a planet with some ease. I don't know it Naruto is faster since Goku can pretty much teleport. Naruto might be able to do some of his moves faster , but I've never seen him take a physical attack on the level of a Super Saiyan (even just SS 1). Also I don't know if Naruto is fast enough to get out of the effective non-planet destroying damage range of Goku's reasonably timed attacks. In the end I think it comes down to Goku's beyond superhuman defence/body and Naruto's relatively still human body.
