Out of what you named, I like Dream Theater, Periphery isn't bad from what I've heard from them, haven't really listened to any of the rest.

FINALLY! Someone else here who's actually heard of Periphery! I love every single one of those bands. I've also covered Scarlet.

I have bought everything they have released on iTunes, bought their newest album 3 times, own multiple merch items, have a signed poster and signed copy of PII, and I'm seeing them live for the second time this August (with Dillinger).

Have any of you dream theater fans heard of liquid tension experiment? Its mike portnoy's other band with all the same people from dream theater except the bassist... that shits good!!
