I didn't realize Austin was the capital

@Nat: The city has a capital building.

Spoky

@Nat: Actually, he meant capital. The lower-case building is across the street.

sonny88p

@Spoky:the BUILDING is clearly an upper-case building

I'm not even anymore 😹

I didn't think a "debate" of the proper way to spell capital would ever happen.

sonny88p

@Parks:it's not a capital idea, old chap

@Parks:
Capitol is a building
Capital is a city
I'm sure this resulted from somebody not realizing they made 2 different words when writing the dictionary

It's not really grammar, though. It's not a rule, it's just spelling. 😅

Who here likes capitalism?

Parks

Ass To Ass

@sonny88p: I think it's great. There's bad parts to it, but it works.

Deleted user

@Parks:
It only works because it allows the people in power to hold on to that power through money. It's just a new form of monarchy.

Michael_g_Rook

They're clearly not in the box, and that is why there are no more IB episodes

ClearLensCap

@sonny88p: As a firm communist I'd have to say no, I do not like capitalism

Jade

They literally just don't care.

I gotta say that the site redesign is pretty dope.

I'm going to be changing a few design things over the next week or so just to keep things looking fresh.

Glad someone noticed!

Parks

@Mike: I noticed that the page count boxes were updated and the cutie mark from the favourite pony on our profiles are on the navbar.

@Mike:
I was on mobile, so it didn't register. I can see it now that I'm on my Mac.

@Parks:
Oh, that's actually an error. They should all be different haha

@Mike:
I don't really see what he's talking about?

Parks

@Nat: The navbar is at the top of the webpage, when you scroll over the options it shows cutie marks.

Damn Mike, liking the website improvements. Might use them for inspiration if that's all good with you? I won't be coding a website so I won't use any of your code, but I'm gonna be using an app to create a prototype for a website as an assessment of mine so website mechanic ideas like that are really helpful.

Make a dedicated CHAT app

My_nama_Jeff

Oil

@Nat: I could, but the thing is the app needs to have a productive purpose. The website I'm going to be making a prototype of is a site about exchanging spare game codes people get from things like the humble bundle and giveaways. This would make less of a need to sell spare game codes and because of that, reduce the speed of which a game loses it's value. As much as it isn't too bad for AAA developers, if an indie developer puts their game on the humble bundle, then it can massively harm all future sales of that game since people sell their spare codes on websites such as G2A for a much cheaper price than if the game were bought directly from the developer or from steam once the bundle ends.

In short, a website that allows people to get rid of spare game codes at a much less damaging rate than reselling the codes.
