So, I'm not sure whether the linking system has changed, but somehow it's differant. So here it is, a simple guide to link a url to a post or thread.
Step 1: The Text.
So for this step, all you have to do is type what you want the website link to say.
Example: Link
Step 2: Setting the text to the link.
So for this step, all you have to do is highlight the text you want the link to be connected to.
Step 3: Connecting the URL to the selected text.
With the highlighted text, you want to click the link button in the text options.
Step 4: Putting the link in.
Finally, once you get the URL box (after clicking the "Link" option from step 3) there should be a space to put text in. Post your URL in that box and press "OK".
Step 5: The end.
After you press "OK" in step 4, it should look like this. If it does, you should have a successful link.

@oilfire30: We here on CHAT fuck with each other all the time, I don't necessarily enjoy being called an idiot either, but if it's done in jest then you just laugh along with it. I highly doubt he thinks you're really an idiot, we haze each other all the time when someone makes even the simplest of mistakes. It's just part of how this place is. Grow some thicker skin.

It's just what B0r1ng said was a bit too far for me and I just over-reacted to it (ALLOT). Normally I'm fine with being messed with (other than my original AMA, but that got very out of hand).

@Mike: I was used to the old method and I never knew it changed until a couple of days ago. It's honestly easy, but I made this thread to say that the method changed and how to adjust to the new method. Did you ever announce that the old method changed?
EDIT: I fucked up, now I remember sombody mentioning something about URL's not working properly. My bad, sorry for being a dick about it.

@Mike: You used to be able to put a URL using the link button alone, I never remember having to type something prior to posting a URL.
